weekend festivities...

Our friends, K and J invited us about a month ago to go to Thriller with them in Park City.
I was thrilled (see what I did there) to go.
Trav had never seen it, and was hesitant at first, but after I talked it up, he got excited.
It helped that K told him he doesn't usually like plays but liked this.
It was a total blast.
First we went to dinner at Ruby Tuesday's.
Then we went to the theater.
J and I were terrified of the zombies at first, then got a little bit used to them blowing our hair and hissing in our ears after a little bit.
This one below, crawled all over and shared a seat with me for about five minutes.
Sorry for the iphone pictures and bad lighting, at least it's pictures, right?

It was such a fun Saturday night.
I loved every second.

We also watched general conference.
It was the first year I watched all five sessions (I included the women's meeting I recorded and watched this week).
I'm pretty sure these speakers speak with me in mind.
I felt uplifted and inspired to be better.
Now, I feel like I need to rewind and watch it all again, to let it really soak in.
Saturday morning, after a run with Mika, Trav's mom and Kait came to watch the first session.
The Saturday afternoon session, I watched alone, while I cut up vegetables for a yummy chip dip.
Both Sunday sessions we went to my mom's.
We ate breakfast, and dinner and decorated for Halloween in between.
Also, B took sixty-seven selfies.
Here are a few.

I feel so rejuvenated after this weekend.
It's just what I needed.
