Thanksgiving weekend Trav and I got to go to St. George with my family.
We took off right after dinner on Thursday and got to St. George late.
We took off right after dinner on Thursday and got to St. George late.
We planned to go four wheeling at the sand dunes on Friday.
There were so many people there.
Braden was a stud driving that clutch.
Trav. Babe.
Kaitlyn.
I hated it.
I'd be fine to never go again.
Especially when my machine broke down right in front of the tunnel to head into the sand dunes.
I had no control over the thing and it BROKE. DOWN.
I couldn't start it at all, and wasn't strong enough to move it by myself.
I motioned to Trav that I needed help, but he just went through the tunnel without me.
Rude.
Luckily my dad came to the rescue when he saw all of the people lined up behind me.
It was horrible guys, horrible.
I think that put me in a bad mindset over the whole thing for the rest of the activity.
So Shan and I set up camp and watched all the millions of brave people and cool cars.
We enjoyed the warm sun and the gorgeous scenery.
I could lay there in the sand all day.
We saw boats on the lake, and wished we were with them.
The crew came back way too fast and begged Shan and I to go with them.
They wanted to show us Sand Mountain.
I was hesitant, and then Trav said that I could ride with him.
Travis drove like a maniac.
He luckily, kept me safe though.
I did laugh really hard at myself when I realized how terrified my face must have looked under that helmet.
Four wheeling: not my thing.
I think we took this picture when we were loading up the machines to go.
I look hot. Or sick...You choose.
We made sure to put the heavy ones in the front of the trailer this time to make sure we had a safer ride home.
We ended the night with more eating.
My dad loves this restaurant called "Anasazi Grill."
It's a steakhouse where you cook your meat on a hot rock and eat fondue.
Trav was excited to try it.
He was giddy like a little boy cooking his own meat.
He loved every second of it, except for when we stunk like a big steak when we left.
We ate a lot this trip.
I tried to refrain from taking pictures of every meal.
We also went golfing during that trip.
(Don't mind my pants... my jeans were wet and drying in the car.)
I got to drive the golf cart.
The old man stood over my shoulder to make sure I knew how to drive it.
Then he didn't like that I drove on the grass.
Who knew that wasn't allowed?
Not me...
Who was that man anyways?
Pretty sure my golfing form is better than his...
vs.
Agree?
He wins the best looking award though.
After the driving range, us girls were done and went shopping at the CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZAAAA!!!
The boys stayed and did nine holes.
We got some good things.
And some of my favorite...
Then to Disney's movie, Frozen.
Loved it.
St. George: totally my thing.
It was so much fun.
Happy Thanksgivining!

I love this post and the sun and the sand and the food and the family and the golfing and the 4-wheelers and you and this blog and the fact that you spelled Thanksgivining correctly! :)
