our new safe.

One of the good things about your parent's upgrading is that you get the old stuff.
It's nice, I tell ya, it's NICE.
We've gotten furniture, decorations, furniture, and most recently, a safe.

Last night, I was in the bathroom getting ready for bed.
You know, washing face, brushing teeth.
Trav was in the office across the hall and I could hear some banging around.
Then I hear, "Kal, do you have a stethoscope?"
I told him where it was, wondering what the heck he was doing.

I walked in there when I was all through and found him sitting cross-legged in front of the safe.
He had the stethoscope backwards in his ears trying to unlock the safe.
Totally concentrated.
I'd take a picture to share, but he was in his underwear.
Mind you, the code is on the bottom of the safe.
(good place parents!)

He said he couldn't hear anything and that the stethoscope was hurting his ears.
I fixed it in his ears and tested it.
He still said it didn't work and went to bed.
Bless his heart...

This boy cracks me up.
