I got a job Parkway Health Center, in Payson.
I quit my desk job, before I even applied to Parkway.
I just knew for some reason it was time to switch.
When I applied there, I had an overwhelming that I should work there.
I know it's cheesy...
I thought it was just to get some medical experience.
And while that was true, I'm pretty sure I needed to work there to meet Travis.

He told me I was ridiculous the first time I saw him, because I was shaking the carbonation out in my Diet Dr. Pepper.
Somehow, I was dumb enough to add him on Facebook as a friend, after that comment.
Oh well, it didn't bother me.
He started talking to me on the chat thing.
Ended up bringing me another drink the next morning and got my number.
He's so smooth.
I found out he also worked at a restaurant in Springville, that I LOVE.
It's called "The Trolly."
For our first date, he ordered and prepaid for food from the restaurant the night before.
We planned for me to pick up the food and meet him after he was done with school.
I was surprised that he had already paid.
We met at a park, near UVU.
We ate dinner, and talked.
Then we discussed what to do next.
It wasn't an awkward thing that wasn't planned, like you would think.
He was easy going.
We went to see " Pitch Perfect" at the movie theater in Provo.
I love that movie and found out later that he hated it.
I took him back to his car afterward and we called it a night.
During this time, I was kind of on a... what I call... "one date and done" streak.
I thought the date with Travis was fun, but didn't expect anything to come of it.
We worked together for heaven's sake.
Later that week, I went to Lake Powell for fall break.
Trav had texted me, and when I didn't text back right away, he freaked out.
I don't remember what happened next, but one date lead to another.
Neither of us dated anyone else from there.
Trav would bring me doughnuts and Diet Dr. Peppers when he would come in for work.
Those things were lifesavers.
Waking up at 3:45 every morning was really getting to me.
When I was sick, he brought me medicine.
His persistence got to me.
I quit work and got a new job right as everyone at work was figuring out that we were a "thing."
We continued dating and never stopped.
Here's a little video that we played at our wedding.

We love his work. If you're in the search, look him up at
I'm so glad his persistence brought you out of the "One and done" dating stage, because he's pretty great.
