I was always that person who got sad when someone didn't blog for a long time.
Now I'm that blogger.
We're just too busy to blog.
Too busy playing, loving, working, and studying.
One of my all time favorite quotes is as follows:
That's exactly what we've been doing.
Enjoying life.
It is hard sometimes.
Sometimes the seemingly big things, like school and work, feels overwhelming.
It feels like a block in the road, and I can't see anything else.
However, when I focus on the seemingly little things, like spending time with Travis or with family and friends, life seems to be the best there ever was.
It's the little things that makes life fun and happy.
It's the little things I contribute to being able to say, "Life is good, and fun and awesome."
One thing I chose to focus on this year, is to "be present."
So many times, I find myself focused on something else, while I'm doing the one thing.
Focused on what's going to happen next, focused on what I have to do.
This has made all the difference in the world for me.
When I'm doing homework, I want to be focused on homework.
When I'm with my husband, I am focused on him.
It gives me a break from always thinking of what I have to do.
And a break from thinking of what I want to do.
Homework time has cut in half, when I'm focused.
Play time has become amplified.
We are loving the little things right now in our lives.
Right now, life is the best life both of us have ever had.
We're busy, but we're happy.
